That's *** weird. They said they wanted to have a longer beta period than they had with 11, then decide to release it 3 months sooner than they'd originally stated, less than 3 months after the beta starts.

I'm usually one of the people defending SE, but wtf. Prepare for a buggy game come September.

I like to think of myself as a partial pecimistist. I say it will most likely be a poor outcome. That way if I'm wrong, something positive results, and if I'm correct... Then I'm correct.. I win either way. lol

But in this case, I am looking forward to FFXIV. But I have no clue if it is going to be any good. I always thought I'd never try another MMO once the ffxi servers get shut down. We shall see in what appears to be the very near future.

I also think 3 months is a bit soon... I wasn't going to expect it out until at least early/mid 2011.

I'm not too confident in SE myself, but the beta version of the game could be further along than we think it is. We'll just have to wait a couple of weeks and see.

every website saying it and the artwork and everything is true, I know what am going to do. Go to Gamestop take my ps3 off and put it for FFXIV CE PC version 6day of fun before anyone who did not get CE? ingame item sweet :)

Well the E3 beta looked pretty polished, but that doesn't say much really. Wait until beta starts and see I guess. Still, doesn't leave them much time to make any changes from the beta testers, so looks like they're just there to swarm the servers en mass and find bugs by brute force. I really can't imagine any tester feedback being taken into account with such a short beta. But SE, please feel free to prove me wrong.

Is that minimum or recommended? If it's minimum I might wanna OC to get better results.

Damn, I really can't get it day 1 then. That's right in the middle of a semester. I'm horrible at prioritizing school work over MMOs, so I'll have to wait a long time. Probably shouldn't bother at all.

I really hope that March 2011 release date for PS3 changes. that's a full 6 months the PC people are going to have as a head start. The laptop I play FFXI won't handle 14.

I'll play it when it delivers and let ya guys know how it goes :)

I think that may be minimum, but even still, my comp specs are much higher than this which makes me a happy panda =D

How much is FFXI? I never look at my bank statements apparently.
