game is positively immense. love it

Crafting is the fastest way to level if you have a crap ton if mats and a decent amount of karma.
went from 30 to 35 in a few seconds

managed to find a "XP boost while crafting for 1hr" yesterday, going to save all the materials I find and just craft-a-lot during the weekend :x

Same for me. I'm hoarding mats as well now.

Anyone know how long it takes for mining nodes to respawn?

I got:
Karma Boost
XP boost
Crafting Boost
and one other boost i think

I have yet used them. I haven't crafted yet either. (I'm 25 atm)

Oh and I got some items that let you combine weapons

dont know on respawn timers, but I just zone out and back in to find new ones, or usually getting in/out of the overflow does the trick.

Mining in overflow atm. Would be nice if I could get back on my server and see if the points are back up..

Gah.. got back onto Blackgate and I ran out of pickaxes.. well it seems about 2 hours for nodes to respawn.

Got the game yesterday and played it 12 hours straight. And I didn't even feel that absorbed into it. Playing as a human engineer now at obo 13.

I did start getting hooked at the end though when I was just running around gathering materials to check out crafting.

Basicly the game (mainly the cities) look insanely gorgeous. The interface works well. I've personally never had a smoother MMO launch ever. I havent had a single issue, bug, disconnect, or lag. Runs flawlessly at max settings. I really like the added map completion goals. I like the added underwater stuff.

The combat (at least as an engineer) feels like I'm playing Team Fortress. It's kinda fun but I want to try a melee class next. And as usual with the ease of difficulty in this kind of MMO there is little to no teamwork or interaction yet. I joined a guild and over the next 6 hours I didn't see a single word spoken in guild chat.

log out to chara selection and log back in, or zone out-in (using gatepoints or walking) and they load faster? :/

That's exactly what I've found. I've joined three guilds so far since headstart and every single one has been almost completely silent even when there are multiple people logged in.

Free trial? The game is free to play lol, you just have to buy it

Woo, level 40. Some of the quest cutscenes for The Order of Whispers is pure comic gold.

A lot of the NPC dialog has been very well done during events.

I just wanted to quickly touch upon this incase he sees checks this again. If you've only played FFXI as an MMO you might not know this but, it seems a lot of other MMO's go the route of only letting you use one class per character. It was new to me when I started playing Rift and Aion.

I do wish i could class change too. Especially seeing the sexy spells Elementalists use.

the Personal Banking Golem is part of the Deluxe and Collectors Edition, u can get one by upgrading to the Deluxe Edition in the gem store for 2000 gems, tho the golem only lasts for 5 days :\

Btw is there a way to get more spaces in your account bank? Mine's almost filled up (mostly with items I want to sell at the Trading Post).

there is but u need 600 gems for each expansion, when u have ur bank window open there's a little padlock icon in the bottom right corner just under the last item slot.

I really like GW2, but my problem is that I only play it with the GF, and we constantly get sent to different overflow servers and ***, and it takes a long time to get onto the same server again and that kills a lot of the enjoyment for us. =/ Mainly because the button to join the same server as people in your party exists, but it doesnt *** work.

I have yet tried WvWvWvW. I want to though.
