Was anyone seriously disappointed at the difference between the movie "The Last Airbender" and the anime?!
Seriously? I enjoy the whole live action thing but this movie seems like they wanted to rush through everything?!
Anyone remember that scene with the earthbenders when 5 of them were "bending" and a tiny rock just flew by the screen -____-;

It sucked so bad. I couldnt finish watching it. I was disappointed with the actors they chose for these roles.
Maybe some actors who actually looked like the ones from the anime would have helped?

I personally thought the movie was pretty good, I didn't get to see it in 3D, Sadly. Only thing I didn't like about it was the non-attention to the actual script from the series...

Avoiding this like I did Dragonball. There's been so many terrible anime/game > movie adaptations.
You guys were disappointed because you expected too much...
lol If you look at it through a child's point of view, chances are you'd feel differently about it...or maybe if you never actually watched the anime..
My son thinks it's the greatest movie ever lol He never watched the anime.

I was disappointed with Dragonball as well as Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li.
Tekken the animated move was so much better...

Well, that's the thing. This honestly drew the attention of those who have watched it. If you haven't, it just looks like a huge special effect movie.
Don't name a movie after the anime series then completely make it different.
I had the option to see but i was in the middle of fighting Cerb.. I asked around to see if it was good and everybody said no XD. And by the previews i can tell it was going to be bad.. i mean nobody resembled anybody in the anime :(..
The dragged out martial art dances is probably one of the small things that bugged me.

I didn't go to see it b/c well, doesn't interest me at all. But my son was so super excited when he came home, the next day he wanted to go see it again lol

Spider-man, X-men, Iron-man, the last two Batman and Transformers were pretty good ones. Any more that I am missing? The rest seemed really bad.

Under-educated masses, Avatar: The Last Airbender was out way before Avatar (the shitty looking blue people) was even in production stages. This is a live Action movie of the Animated series on Nickolodean.

Anime is short for Animation. Although, since it isn't from Japan I guess you are technically right since the proper title would be "Cartoon" but "anime" is much faster to type. :3

actually no he wasn't. the kid in the movie sent in a video audition..he was not the cartoon voice actor.
also. THIS IS NOT ANIME. this is an american style cartoon. that is all.

Va for the Series: Zach Tyler Was the actor for the entire series start to finish.
Actor for movie: Noah Ringer Was only the Actor for the movie, and the va for the game.
