But I really hope this is set on Ragol and not that Gurhal system like in PSU. And hopefully doesn't include all the cantankerous "innovations" in gameplay from PSU and keeps it more simple and player-friendly like PSO was. ^^ We'll see, soon enough, I suppose.

1 update ever 4-5 months while JP got it 1 every 2-3 weeks.
If we get to play with japanese players, i would be happy. (it would mean i'd get updates with the japanese player base)

I love PSO~ I started on the Dreamcast and moved over to the Gamecube version to play offline with friends, split screen. Lots of fond memories. I miss my Ranger.

Yeah, PSO/PSU was never an 'MMO,' just a huge online action game. I mean, technically it does fit the MMO criteria, but it's basically like doing Nyzul Isle without lamps. Still fun, especially with friends. I can't watch the video since for some bizarre reason, this is the only site working on my internet. What system(s) is this for?

As long as I can fill my storage with Varistas and DB's Sabers, I'm good to go.

loved the original PSO and PSO ver.2 for the dreamcast also loved xbox and gamecube versions got both versions to 200 offline and never got into online play much on the xbox version due to lag issues but god the games were amazing and fun loving loved my Hunter with her Sonic Knuckles on the dreamcast versions and loved the Dual-Bladed Lavis on the Gamecube and xbox version also loved the Spread Needle for my Ranger nothing like killing 4 baddies at once without them even getting close =D

PSO epi 1/2 with only updated graphics would compete with FFXIV. If they treat PSO2 right, I could actually see it as a top MMO. They should stick with all the stuff that working in PSO epi. 1/2, increase depth and longevity in the new game, and of course, with some HQ graphics, I believe PSO2 could dominate.

The appeal to me about PSO was that you could just hop right in and just kill without the complications of an MMO.
That's also the problem; what's there to do aside from spamming telepipes for rare monsters and spamming TTF?
