Server List Limitations?

So, I'm trying to get onto Figaro server, but the only options I've got are Kashuan, Bodhum, Melmond, Saronia, Fabul, Palamecia, Istory, Trabia, Rabanastre, Wutai, Lindblum, Besaid.
What's the deal? I know that many servers can't be full already, so what am I doing wrong?

The game has just been released so they will be trying to balance the server populations out, and they will need to optimise the servers for the mass of ppl creating chars.

However I have not seen any info about SE closing servers on the lodestone website, info on this is usually posed on http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com/pl/index.html

Just give it some time... I think S.E. "Screw Everyone" Corporation is either:

1. Trying to evenly balance all servers, thus not providing Figaro Server Option at this time. I had that problem last nite when I created a 3rd character > a Miqo'te called Power Feline, so I had to go to TRABIA.

or

2. Or they want to cash in on a later option to Charge people $25.00 or more on World transfer service, when deciding to consolidate all characters into one server.

I'm suprised Besaid is still open. Hell, even Trabia just because I thought you all would make a larger dent in the population.

They're balancing out server population.

Which would you rather have, your choice of the available servers, or be placed to a server at random.

random, then maybe id have a chance to get in selbina

I had a couple Cerb friends on there. Figured it was better than going in not knowing anyone!

80% of FFXIAH is on Trabia, I'm sure you would have known people here.

I'll probably make a mage on Trabia or something later. =) Then again, the only forum people I really liked were you, Das and yote!
