i remember playing xi 7 years ago. took forever to get to level 10. Now in xi i can get to lvl10 in an hour. So I feel that its great that leveling isn't that easy.

reaching lvl 10 in XI would still be "hard" if SE hadnt changed a lot of stuff. get WS at lvl 3, more exp for EP mobs, FoV etc etc

i got to level 10 in XI in 2005 in < 1.5 hours...on blm, it wasn't ever hard to begin with.
