Victory smite build
15% TA is pretty nice for DOT and WS frequency. Maybe I am overplaying this, but I would think that would help out more than 30% more damage when you crit.
well, apoc actually increases your ws frequency, and can still proc on ws....
edit: beaten :( I bet somebody already did the math on how often the triple attack procs from apoc vs the crit rate from SS and I'm being too lazy to read it all lol.
Side note: Just did 2965 on Count Furfur outside abyssea... I love this thing. Apoc's 15% TA is probably the single best boost you could possibly have in one slot. Its a bigger boost than the 20% crit rate + 10% counter that you get from GH combined, you are already adding critrate to something you have and counter(insert diminishing returns) while TA is fresh and you're getting a big impact.

Individually I dont think anyone one of those would win except 50dex perhaps if your accuracy was low and you achieved some ddex from it. Never heard of an individual buff referred to as a "slot" before. By slot, it sounded more like you meant atma, as you get 3 of those, so each one you choose would be one of your three slots.

I should have said bonus or something, but mainly just illustrating that the one bonus if you will, is the biggest bonus any atma can offer you, and is big enough to of a bonus to be better than 98% of all the bonus' the atmas give barring RR and in some cases A/O. If not, use elemental stuffs Rancor/BB with Impetus down, Ire+1/BB if it's up. Unless you're using SS over GH, then use Rancor for both.
Rancor when applicable

That's what I'm saying, SS/RR/GH, and ditch apoc. Still testing it all though. RR/GH/Apoc > RR/SS/Apoc Do not discount Apoc, 15% TA goes a long way. I've had vereth for less than a week, and it's like getting a new toy; you want to play around with it a lot at first. I'm starting to lean towards SS/RR/Apoc though. Gonna wait til Monday's update to go after some WS pieces. Edit: Ah, thanks for the clarification, Thor. RR/SS/Apoc will give you the most damage, excluding counter damage. But you shouldn't neglect the 10% counter on GH, a lot of damage come from counters.
Personally, anything that would take two Impetus cycles to kill, I go RR/GH/Apoc. Otherwise RR/SS/Apoc. Rancor Collar's price took a huge dive.
It's easy to obtain and should have never been priced that high to begin with?
My VS ws set, not too fussed about changing the rajas atm.
grats? thats a super bland and expected looking set. why post?
If your accuracy is capped:
Tantra Tath -> Thew, unless your attack is capped. Kemas -> +4 STR earring or aesir, unless your attack is capped. Light Gorget -> Ire +1, or collar when necessary. If you find yourself in a situation where you need some accuracy I would keep what you have now, and potentially swap a piece out or two for even more accuracy if its absolutely necessary. There are small things like Beir Belt +1, or Aias bonnet, or an auged shura +1 head, you mentioned the rajas ring also. To be realistic I wouldn't worry about those unless you have the resources or a bunch of gil with nothing else to invest in. At this point you have a very nice VS set. Entourage said: » grats? thats a super bland and expected looking set. why post? Because it's the little things Ent! Hey guys, I'm a bit late to the party. I came back a couple months ago and am currently working on Verethragna and am starting to think about VS gear. My question is on head pieces, I see a lot of people have a mix of them with Anwig Salade and/or Aias Bonnet. I can't decide which I want.
Anwig: STR+4/WS Acc+15 and Agi+4/WS DMG +2% (Or is there better augments?) Maybe Anwig better inside Abyssea and Aias better outside? I just re-did the Moogle fight so i can choose any augments, But that's when I started second guessing myself. Any input is appreciated 18 pages of nothing , including my useless post like a few ones on this thread
Anybody tested the new STR+5/DA+3% belt? How is it looking compared to Beir Belt+1?
