This is the build I'm aiming for. Anything I should note or change?

Use Atheling Mantle

Vulcan's Pearl shouldn't be out of reach for you either

Augmented shura kabuto +1 is still the #1 smite head i believe. Or MKD head if you dont have.

What stats are the best on the MKD head? I currently use the Aias Bonnet as well for WS and would like to know what could improve it. I also have no clue what the Shura head augs are (assuming it is like the +1 legs I have with STR augs)
If I knew how to post my gear set I would do so, but I don't =P

Figured it out. My Shura Haidate +1 have STR+2 aug.

Best MKD augments would be WS dmg+2% and STR+4, WS ACC+15.

As for shura+1 head, you can top that with WS dmg+3%, STR+5, ATK+6 if you going for the best augments.

Personally i get better results from dex/agi aug on MDK (2% crit dmg/2% WSdmg).

Getting +3% WSdmg will put shura head above any, but ideally aiming for attack, and str from random pool would make it unbelievable.

Edit: Brutal earring...use it. Also Thew bomblet over tantra.

Not having usuk legs myself...how do they hold up against str+10 legs outside?

This is a nice set. Getting Moonshade with TP Bonus+25 & ATK+4 would be a small upgrade over vulcans. You might wanna consider using BB instead of beir+1 for outside build. Atleast with Impetus down.

im fairly sure hachi legs beat them * but frak the 10mil price tag on those*

idk if the shura legs+1 with 10 str beats them the dex is nice since it keeps you from going into the negative when using heafoc + belt+1. im definitely going to look into the 5str 3% double attack belt though.

Hello ppl, i have read through the forum, and often i see if your acc is capped,or if your attack is capped,to choose which equip is best to use.
Im not an expert, still have alot to learn about maths, but i haven't really got how you guys know when you are capped in accuracy or attack vs a mob,or better,an nm really.
Since you can't see said mob or nm stats, how could one judge if your attack is capped lol? from what i have seen, many mobs T and VT in abyssea must have like 400-500 defense if im not wrong, and many NMs must have even higher than this.So lets assume to cap attack, you would need something like 1200 1400 attack to cap on many stuffs?I barely get 999 using best food stalwart ecc maybe berserk too to get that, but i don't think im even near to cap attack on anything worth mentioning.
Any suggestion and explanations accepted,im all ears XD

Acc shouldn't be a problem if you're alternating focus/aggressor.

What would require that amount of acc? MNK can add another 30 or so acc and still cap haste before food and still have focus/aggressor.

Dragua/chigoes as far as I know you couldnt cap acc without drinks. We have gained 5levels and 35skill now though, that may or may not be an issue anymore.

I did Dragua the other day, had no issues with just focus/aggressor with no heavy acc build.

I wouldn't say anything in abyssea requires that much acc anymore.

PDT for petrify/terror, MDT for spells, ride counterstance, full DD mode. I used Bison Steak and had no issues with accuracy with cookie cutter build alternating focus/aggressor.

I'd rather kill twice as fast as the other duo and get the next KI pop before them.

You will when you factor in counters, ODD, no stopping to cast shadows, among other things.

Either sub thf or have your whm sub thf. And most damage you take from Dragua is from AoE.

Also, ODD on hth is a lie.
