So you can save more gil than I previously suggested.

Cash in 1.5 mill and use a better neck/ear combo for situations rancor is not suitable (which was the reason this was bought up in the first place)

How about you look at his sets? Not just what is on his page. If this is all we ever went on then i would have to say serj has the worst blu I have ever seen. But I'm not going to assume that's what he uses just because thats what shows up on his page.

Also I didn't go back far enough to see who said what first but to me it seems yall both have been saying the same exact thing just about. I come to this thread to get advice about how to gear for my VS yet all i'm seeing now is serj atting someone who is agreeing with him.

You are looking at my Abyssea/Berserk/Impetus up set.

When Impetus is up, there is times when rancor going to waste, even when using SS, Apoc, RR. (dex+merits= 25%+30%(RR)+15%(WS)+2~3% (moonshade)=72~73% before riding impetus to cap. I have had over 35-40 connecting hits which put me at crit cap w/o rancor.

But in fights (doing T2's obviously) where mobs arent dead by the time Impetus wear off, the rancor stays on WS aswell when Impetus/zerk up.
The Impetus down WS sets I use rancor aswell.
I have 4 ws sets for MNK in Abyssea.

Pretty much any crit ws builds on my jobs involves using rancor for WS (some tp phase too) You got the wrong idea about me trying to advocate not using rancor etc.

My profile reflects poorly on all my builds since I can't post them there anyways, but shows a general guideline on what I use.

You realize on statistical average, you're going to miss 1/20 attacks. Which will put you on average at 92% crit rate at most, right? You're gearing yourself for the statistical unlikely.

While I agree rancor is a generally better piece to use for VS, I don't preach to others about using ire+ for zerk/impetus up situations (I use this piece only for specific fast zerged fights when I can ride 2hrs)

Also, Bruisers is worth 10 times more than what you mentioned on your server, not that it matters now, but if you ever saw a Bruisers for 100k, you'd be missing out on some easy cash.

I was under the impression that AF3+2 feet beat Usukane at 25% base haste. Ganesha's v Brisk may vary... I do suggest getting a Hagneia Stone for TP when you don't need accuracy.

hmmmm, so after the update and all (before the nerf... unless we already know what the crit rate values are gonna be changed to) what would be an optimal tp and the optimal smite sets for voidwatch/abyssea/old-content with impetus up/down? :3...

The biggest upgrade looks to be Shura Zunari Kabuto +1 with WSD+3% (and hopefully other good augments). Rancor Collar + Atheling Mantle for WS. I think Anguinus Belt is also preferable to Breeze Belt?

Just realized that was a Rancor Mantle. Is 1D or 3% DA better for TP?

Ya i know Kabuto would be better, but waiting for new nyzul gear 2bh before investing so much gil in an aug'd 1 atm, hoping new nyzul "may" give us a nice piece, and dont mind waiting too see, besides i find the acc on bonnet is nice for T6, considering doing anwig 2bh as a stop gap w/ ws acc+15 str+4 and haste+2 str+2 as a stop gap.
Friend mathed out ele combo for me and said beat out beit+1/justicars which i had started using after gettin rancor mantle, not sure about anguinus though maybe worth a shot.
If some1 could math out anguinus + rancor mantle + w/e neck would be interesting to see.
