i'm not a fan of catfish. it's ok, but there are like at least 5+ fishes i'd eat before it.

I've only ever had Salmon and Cod. And whatever fish armpits that are grinded up and put into fish sticks.

For all my fellow nerds, I spent a lot of the day fine tuning my Area-51m. Ended up with some pretty satisfying results.

Got the 9700k to run stable at 4.8GHz with a pretty massive undervolt (-100 on offset, 1.08 base voltage on core+ring). The result is approximately 15-20C cooler operating temperatures at load for a pretty minimal performance hit compared to the max I've been able to get out of this chip (5.1GHz, which takes a shitload of extra voltage to achieve).

The 2080 is experiencing no issues ramping up to 2.1GHz at stock voltage (vBIOS is flashed to limit the GPU to 180w instead of the standard 215w TDP for now, and quite frankly I don't feel like I need the rest) and hanging around 70-78C under load. Very happy with this result.

This resulted in some pretty incredible benchmark scores.

Odd, it should be running hotter at a lower voltage as it's pulling more current for the same amount of power...

I've never done customized overclocking, always let it do the auto. Although, I just recently upgraded something to liquid cooling, very impressed with the difference.

It pulls less current for less power. Undervolting is done by reducing the TDP of the chip as far as it'll go while still remaining stable at the desired frequency. In this case I pushed mine as low as my BIOS would allow and still maintained 4.8ghz at around 45-50w of power draw as opposed to the chip's standard TDP of 95w.

Also saved a profile in the other direction; 5.2ghz at 120w,but that runs far too hot to be usable outside of benchmarks.

The screenshot was taken from the end of The Praetorium, it's a story dungeon with WAY too many unskippable cutscenes so to compensate, and so vet players still run it and help new players, it gives about half a level upon completion via roulette once a day.

Ah yes, reducing the power draw would definitely lower the current :D

Nephrite was just introduced in Sailor Moon. His Viz dub voice sounds like its the guy who voiced Caius in FFXIII-2. Should be a treat. I was watching subbed version but the subtitles stopped working after episode 10. :|

Swordfish is really nice, a very greasy fish. You want to cook it like tuna. we sear it on a very high temperature for a short period of time and then roll it through a marinade of fishsauce/good soysauce and roasted sesame seeds. Its very nice that way warm but also afterwards enjoyable cold in a salad or in a sandwich.

I'm not even sure where to get Swordfish lol Fish isn't something I crave. I rarely had it growing up so I guess that's why. I do enjoy Salmon cakes though.
