Why are there so many drugs on the medicine aisles? I have a runny nose, I'm congested, I probably have fever.. When I am sick, I do not have the patience to read through several boxes of meds trying to figure out which one will cure me. Just give me what I need and let me go sleep it off...
This light topic is interesting. It reminds me of a question that I had like years ago in physics class that I didn't really get an answer to.
If light is traveling at 3.0x10^8 and then is affected by gravity, is it then accelerated beyond the speed of light, or does it slow down in the X axis, and speed up on the y?
Here is a diagram for reference.
No. The universe almost accomodates to only the speed of light. Gravity itself only operates at the speed of light as well, meaning if the sun were to disappear, it would take roughly 7-8 minutes for the earth to be affected.. so you can't accelerate it faster than itself. But light is weird, there is no distinguishable difference between speeds in gravitational lensing (what your first answer is) and it going in a straight line simply because photons have momentum, but no mass. So the answer is neither?
It's been a while, correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks. I never heard of Gravitational Lensing or I just didn't pay enough attention in school. Makes sense.
Failed my musculoskeletal test..heck ya..the first test of the semester and it was the "easiest" one. Next sections are respiratory, endocrine and cardiac. Dont they sound easy in comparison?
T_T
PS 79.9% is failing at my university.

To be fair, I'd prefer my nurses (That's what you're taking, no?) to get no less than 100% all the time :/
1. SPORK!
2. SPORK SPORK SPORK SPORK SPORK SPORK SPORK SPORK SPORK SPORK SPORK!
3. Great. It's my day off work, only 3:30am and all i can think about is stabbing people with sporks.

Understandable. Though All other colleges in my area require atleast a 75%, but just having such a high cut off frays your nerve. Plus I don't necessarily think the tests adequately represent what we all know >.> namely I read each chapter so many times I feel I can recite it. I just have issues with answering test questions because I second guess or over think. Plus trick questions should be banned.
Sold my Xbox. Good idea? Bad idea?
Why do I have to work a night shift tomorrow when I've had morning shifts for the past 8 months?
I wonder what the wii fit is like?
*** you insomnia.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
