The protagonist is clearly Frank West.

I immediately thought of Frank West as well ROFL. It looks alright trailer wise, nothing really new or over the top honestly from first glance but the GTA series has always been enjoyable.. and yes... i did like San Andreas too...

Looks alot better than GTAIV already. Alot of varied locations, and the main character seems more likable.

Can't wait to bike off the top of Mt. Chilead again, like a boss.

GTA V Trailer!

I am really happy to have the life sized replica of LA instead of NY come to the franchise instead of that silly cramped LA/Las Vegas/San Fran region in San Andreas.

San Andreas was fantastic. This will be fantastic. The trailer alone brings back that GTA feeling that GTA4 failed to provide.

Rumored main character; an older Tommy Vercetti.

Screenshots and also Jets/Bicycles have been confirmed.

OMG another I can't wait to steal a car, shoot a cop, get a hooker and rob her. Then rinse and repeat that with the same quest over and over again for hours. Will be the greatest game since I played it in the original GTA.

Could at least say GTA3 instead of the original.. That top down crap sucked.

Lol I may have to agree. The game was really hard then to drive.

Dirt Bike racing, Skydiving have been confirmed to be in the game. (Maybe sports as well)

Sorry for the necro bump, but Rockstar announced that the game will be released in Spring 2013!

Can't wait. Ignore the comments from the readers of "Practical Parenting" magazine, media brainwashing works both ways. Repetitive, yeh, Final Fantasy games are NEVER repetitive are they, failbots?!

BTW to tide you over, and as someone mentioned playing a "Dirty Cop" - can recommend Sleeping Dogs (AKA True Crime Hong Kong)- not a bad game at all.

Played GTA4 for a lil while, got to the 2nd major city and quit, felt like I had played it before with a more interesting lead. Might give this one a shot, but not a day 1 buy.

Rockstar took steps back on GTA V. They're adding almost all the stuff San Andreas/Vice City did.

Cant wait for this,gonna go preorder it on november 6th (i know they start on the 5th but gamestop here takes a day after the official preorder day.

I'll be preordering the pc version for sure since I've got my new gaming desktop up and running and cant wait :D I bet a game like this would rock with triple screens,most of my current games are lackluster with it,but the idea of seeing sidewalks full of people and sun rising/setting between buildings etc to my sides......hawt

yeah, now they just need to add new stuff.

I don't get it with Call of Duty. But Rockstar is making GTA V a lot better after the disappointment of GTA IV. I may actually get to play another GTA SA features again but way better. GTA IV was just too short and poorly done. Missing a lot of stuff and even the prime systems.

This game will be amazing, cant wait!!! See you again when it arrives this will totaly kill FF for me, GTA has been fun and the last online one was pretty entertaining, this is going to be off the hook!

I must say this though, Trevor looks so hilarious! An absolute nutter!

It's actually not fair to lump GTA in with CoD. Call of duty ever since CoD4 modern warfare, has carbon copied their game every year or less and charged a continual $59.99. The only changes were the weapons and skins of the characters as well as tweaks to the hud and perk/killstreak systems.

Then CoD was the first to overkill the DLC market by coming out with map packs and charged even MORE for them. Add that to the mountain dew and Dorito's campaign to get kids to purchase unhealthy junk just for 2 hours of double XP or what not and you have a seriously bad thing going.

The development turn around and effort put into CoD as of late has been the worst thing I have ever seen. Black Ops and Black Ops II weren't as guilty of this to a degree and the zombie mode was pretty fun, but Call of Duty has really tarnished the FPS category in my eyes.

GTAV Might not be some peoples cup of tea, but they have never completely just copy/pasted any of the series or gone as low as to rip off their fans. I have never been let down by any GTA game in terms of expectations from a design standpoint.

It's been years since San Andreas/4 (which I still personally liked quite a bit) and the new trailers posted recently look amazing.
