~40 including mana producing creatures/artifacts etc. More if you have a lot of colors, less if you have less.

well, thing is my black legacy deck is almost done lol
i need like 9 more cards and then 14 for the sideboard and its done
basically need

and I need to figure out what i need for sideboard :(
the sink holes are really the only thing keeping me back in terms of being done with the deck (i dont know if i want to really drop that much cash for only 4 cards -_-)
I might replace my Liliana Vess with a Liliana of the Veil as well... but im not sure about that yet

Long, long ago I was a judge at the World Championships. A Dutch friend in that competition said "26 lands is not enough??!!??" For him, that day, it wasn't.

Sorry, been away from the game too long to know what an EDH deck is.
As I remember his deck pivoted on Sindbad from Arabian Nights.
My friends and I just got back in Magic after a 15+ year hiatus. Everybody else quit around the time of Ice Age, before even 5th edition came out. I played up until around Tempest before I quit.
All I can say is, these new cards are freakin ridiculous. My friend made a blue deck out of things that "blink" in and out of exile and devour creatures every turn.
I feel like a WWI vet showing up to modern day Afghanistan with a bolt action rifle.

Anyone is going to participate? Which guild are you going to pick?
I'm considering picking Selesnya guild, white and green has some sick control and I think populate is going to be amazing in the limited format.

The Return to Ravnica pre-release event, most places holding local tournaments are doing a limited-seal event.
This one is special because you can play your promo card and you get a special guild booster containing cards of the guild you chose. Along with 5 normal boosters.

Yup. Going with Izzet, because that was my favorite guild back when Ravnica was first released. with some luck, I'll get the new Niv mizzet also D=
With the banning of Primeval Titan in EDH things may differ a bit depending on what type of deck you play but generally 34-38 lands.
I'm not a huge fan of limited events and RtR doesn't look near as good as the original Ravnica but I am very pleased that they are reprinting the shock lands. I'd like to also see the old fetches like Flooded Strand, Polluted Delta, ect. but I doubt it.
