1) Stats on armor are too generic- My friend got the superior cloth hands last night on his mystic. They had crit+3 on them and whatever the enigmatic stats were. I also lost a roll for a superior plate body to a berserker. The stats on the body were all defense related. I just think they should have diversified into more armor stats. It's only level 27, hopefully that's the case later on.
Lower level, there's not as many slots on the armor for the stats. This mainly applies to bodies/weapons though. However, there are about four/five different stats that can show up on hand armor and feet armor. Some are optimal for all classes, some better for healers, DPS, tanks, etc.. The true customization comes in around Lv50+ though. Stats on bodies will always be defensive (Defense against BAMs, normal mobs, minions, HP recovered, Knockdown, PVP defense, etc..) There are also the crystals on armor/weapons, and soon one each for rings/earrings.
2) Seems like it's going to be too easy- Again, only level 27, but 2 days of grinding can get you the best armor available. I've read the game really hasn't flourished well in Korea due to the lack of endgame content so far also. Another thing, I really don't like that you can ah everything, it kind of defeats the purpose of an achievement if you can just buy the best gear.
Never really liked the fact you could AH everything either. They did find a way to counter that to a point in Korea though. Gold tier 12s used to upgrade 58 gear from dungeons is BOP. So you'll need to run the last few dungeons/get drops in order to successfully get any of the truly best gear past +5/6 where it really counts.
Leveling became easy mode, even in Korea over time from K-OBT to retail. It's even easier for us. What can you do though, the majority of western players would rather have everything handed to them on a silver platter as quick as possible.
It does take time/money/luck to really get the best gear possible. Talking about sealing/unsealing scrolls (Better quality 550k a pop) getting a luxury (+12able), getting a luxury with good stats, and then the whole enchanting process with expensive powders. The RNG is pretty extensive in Tera to say the least.
As far as content goes; level 60, three new dungeons, new skills, armor, mounts, cosmetics, all coming out in KR this month which we'll also see at release.
3) Political system- Who doesn't want to be Vanerk (president)? I think it's pretty funny if you lose 10 elections you get an achievement and 30 million gold.
It's a nice positive reimbursement considering every time your guild runs, it's a 30M fee. The polical/Vanarch system was pretty perfect in Korea though.
