Brad Wong is my favorite fighting game character of all time!

As offended as i am about Jann Lee being top tiered in DOA5 i take solace in knowing it's not Hayabusa this time around.

Jann Lee was one of the best characters in the Japanese and European versions of DOA3 (known as DOA 3.1 and 3.2). In Dead or Alive 4, he was average at best and struggled to keep up with the better characters in the game. Dead or Alive 5 returns Jann Lee to his rightful place near the top of the DOA food chain

The newest heart breaker Mila from the look of her stance and the bandaged gloves she's a Boxer :O

Kinda reminds me of Vanessa from KOF... and by that I mean she has short redish hair and is potentially a boxer lol. Kind of a plain Jane though :/

Also Alpha-152 is playable.

Only pic I could find that shows off the 3 rare swimsuits available in the game and that are required for getting the achievement/trophy for unlocking all costumes.

Requirements:

Tina: Beat arcade mode on Legend difficulty without using any continues.

Christie: Beat time attack on legend difficulty without using any continues.

Lisa: Beat 100 opponents in survival mode on legend difficulty.

Due note Lisa's is the most time consuming and hardest of the 3 to unlock since you HAVE beat 100 opponents on CHAMP, TRUE FIGHTER, and MASTER difficulty before you even unlock LEGEND difficulty.

Another thing to note the AI is beyond ridiculous it is literally reading your inputs and will counter you on spot and is nearly impossible to grab.

RAY OF HOPE: the AI cannot comprehend whiff punishment and for some odd reason refuses to counter mid wake up kicks. it either gets hit or just blocks the attack.

So if you are good a whiff punishment these will be easy to unlock. if you're not and want to be ballsy and try to combo etc the CPU get ready to rage like crazy.

I've just been using the Hayabusa cheap *** back-up punch back-up kick move to beat the Arcade and Time-Attack modes. Survival gets boring doing that and I try to actually fight... and get curb stomped.


-_- On a different note just played at my friends house and he has the CE so I got to see Mila's swimsuit... regretting not getting the CE myself now, codes are $68-99 on ebay if you can even trust them :(

I've noticed the survival AI only get's super crazy around late 80's and mid 90's Leifang's 4+P+K will help you beat it np but till it starts to read button presses just CB combo it to the electric ropes

I actually kinda like Lei Fang's now that I am trying it out.

Still stuck on Champ though... 27 so far is my best... Brad Wong came in an messed me up with his drunken antics.

Yeah survival takes a bit of patience you can't go in with a mind set of I have to win on my first try since there is a good chance you won't.

Things that help using Leifang:

Learn her critical burst set up (*) indicates a pause or free cancel to transition right into the next move:

1PP (on counter hit) * 3P * 236P (This is the critical Burst from here the opponent is completely helpless and the rest of this follow up is guaranteed) 8K * 9KK * PP6PK.

Her whiff punish move:

4P+K

and to take a break whenever you start to get tired just pause and chill till you feel you can resume. beating 100 AI opponents can be tiring.


OK before you ask about the whole number thing you can use a keyboards number pad or a laptop number pad to see what i'm talking about.

But i'm feeling a bit nice so I'll lay it out:

Christie has the best win pose, but I can't stop staring at Tina's boobs. No hetero.

That is the most hetero thing I have ever heard!
