Pet Auto-Regening

Anyone else notice this? Maybe I'm just going crazy, but lately I've noticed that my pet will Regen health in increments of 1% HPP every so often without me having to use reward.

I've seen it on Yuly, Falcorr, Gerard, and Nazuna, so I don't think it's job-related and I know it's not accidentally pseudoresting or Stay either.

Those pets do have an Auto Regen trait

What gives them the trait? Unless I'm mistaken, WAR and THF doesn't give them the trait. Is it just a thing with certain post-75 jugs?

Isn't it when they're not fighting they start regening? I know when I used Stay then they just heal fast. But if they're just following you or using heel

Yuly gets a few buffs from the the labybug family triat. During the day it attacks faster, hits harder and has regen. Not sure about the rest but anything the mob family gets pets normally have as well.

I dunno about any of the new jugs or job traits or whatever, but I CAN say from personal experience that this guy is right^ All pets, even charmed ones, will regen when they're not fighting. I know this because when I was just starting out on BST, I didn't know Stay was used for anything other than running the hell away from the mob before it de-charmed (pre-leave, obviously), so would usually just stand around waiting for the darned thing to sloooowly get health back (and recharming every so often) before siccing it on a new mob.

Thank goodness I eventually found out what Stay was really used for -_-

If you just stand around with a pet, without it moving, it'll heal as if you had used Stay. This isn't healing like that, where you see the health go up in chunks, it really does just appear to be a Regen type-effect. Yuly's daytime makes sense, as does the Gerard bit. Still don't get how Falcorr and Nazuna have it though, unless it IS just a Pet thing.

this has been on all pets for awhile. If you are not in combat and they don't have some other dot status effect on, they will slowly regen.
