The Drow ranger fix they did today was stupid. She was already a powerful carry.

Well LoL was previously the only current generation MOBA which didn't cost to play.
That is changing. DOTA and HoN was always better than LoL anyway, just not worth buying it or WC3 for.
Either way, keep the LoL chat in the LoL thread.

Well yes, they were major DOTA 1 and HoN issues.
And the peak community doesn't bother me as long as I can get games within a minute.
The DOTA 2 community is going to be smaller than that of a game that is in full release. DOTA 2 is in beta and still has 125k people playing right now. The skill ceiling is higher and the community is better.
Faster patches, better servers and Icefrog is a developer.
If you think that LoL will remain as the leading MOBA you're kidding yourself. Even the tournaments are not done professionally.

Someone gifted me the game yesterday on Steam, I have to try it at some point but I'm not in a hurry, I don't really enjoy spending my time on BETAs.
It's a pretty polished beta. They do balance tweaks every week or so.
Ya but then it shows/means that it's not a solid enough game yet, especially on the game mechanics and balance which is what annoys me.
I'll probably try it during my week end though, I would really like to see what people mean by this "much deeper gameplay".

[122 days between previous and next post]I play, I have pretty much completely stopped playing LoL. DoTA actually is much better. I play all modes, I play a lot of ALL PICK.
I have learned single draft is stupid. If that's your think then have ALL RANDOM or ALL DRAFT selected and play one of those. Choice of 20, or pure random,
Some of my favorites are drow, Spirit Breaker, Riki, Outworld devourer.
Meepo is unstoppable in the right hands. Probably hardest hero in game to play, but if done right.. unstoppable.
hard heroes to play honorable mention goes to Rubick as well.(He steals abilities from other heroes, 2 at max limited duration) a lot to manage but I can imagine beinga force of death if done right.
