Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate!!!!
Getting the wiiu version :3
There is quick eating and stuff, but if you're getting hit at all you're doing it wrong. (In solo play I mean; playing with others makes monster movement and attack patterns much more unpredictable.)
There's also the evasion skill which lets you roll/sidestep through attacks if you time it properly. Makes combat a little more fun. ![]() why is nobody else playing? :(
are you g-rank? if not then i don't want to play with you
I've actually only been doing offline, holding off for a while for some friends to pick it up. lol
Done up through most of the 5* quest beat with only leather armor, like a boss. Edit: Just got it 2 days ago :x Ramuh.Austar said: » are you g-rank? if not then i don't want to play with you I never said I wanted to play! I just said I was playing it is all ;) im just farming g-rank jho for my set
Checked out the wiki and I was disappointed to see the Jho weapons take a hit, they all seem unattractive compared to how they were in tri.
slime weapons are really popular
been trying to figure the armor and twin blade paths i wana do. ;x
status +2, bombardier, razor sharp with brachydios ones
One complaint about 3U is them taking out the ability to attack with the right analog. That was a buzz kill for me. Not used to using the buttons and I find it difficult to do the left and right jump slash with LS, and I'm sure I'll notice it on other things as well if I can ever put my LS down.
idk i literally use bow for everything
never liked the analog for attacks anyways, more comfortable with it as camera never played monster hunter ever, but this game looks pretty interesting. thinking about getting a 3ds soon :o
how does the online play work? On 3ds you can play local, but not online. iirc
need wii u version or some adapter thing+3ds+game, may as well just get wii u version. plus classic controller is way better

I just think at that point they shoulda just bought the wiiu version I'd say if you don't get a wii u, MH3U is still worth picking up. Even if the offline mode is just a taste of what the game offers.
if you have to get 3ds version, make some friends get it too. like 70% of the fun is sitting in a room with friends and dying together
This is gonna be prime target for austar, but *** it.

Ive been playing the sh*t out of this game and i have to say im very pleased in the game play. the graphics are very disappointing in some areas but lovely in others. I also found that the game is crazy easy when youre doing the the low rank missions. like, crazy easy. but then i was really happy to see that hi rank gets crazy hard, Purple ludroth rocked my world, even tho i managed to kill it on the first run it was mind bogglingly frustrating to say the least. Ive been recording all my gameplay and im gonna upload it all to youtube soon. but im really happy with this game so far.
tl;dr? Great game with some draw backs, but still highly recommended to at least try it! Edit: I have to agree with Austar on this, playing this game online or with friends makes this game so much more fun! its really definately worth giving it a real chance. It may start off slow but once you start fighting the big boys its a real treat. much like FFXI |
