Player warning section
I know player warning usually get deleted, but was wondering why not make a special forum for just player warning like Bluegartrls. That way player warnings in other forums won't happen and keeps everything clean I think people sometimes deserve the right to know when you´re dealing with shady people or people that steal items/currency. So just a suggestion to FFXIAH.

Could you elaborate why it's a bad idea? I don't know why it's wrong when dealing with skethcy that steal or scam people for more people to be aware of those players, as in like heads up.
It has been suggested and thrown out plenty of times since player warnings became against the rules.

they are banned because they lack no substantial content and eventually lead to pointless bickering, which is what got the site in trouble in the first place, requiring them to make the new rules, so no you don't really deserve anything.

Just make it like the flamewar section. The updates don't show in the board feed.
That way, the only way you see it is if you choose to go there.
Who cares that it brings more drama when you don't have to see it in the first place? 100% optional, can't even see it by accident if it doesn't show up in the feed/recent posts list.
Also only make it available to members, so that section of the site isn't going to be rated by google or other randoms

Player warnings are generally 1-sided and skewed trying to make someone look bad when it may not be the case. The damage done by false accusations would greatly outweigh any damages perceived as deserved.

There isn't an incredible amount of drama in these posts outside of really ridiculous or notorious people. I think it properly moderated, it's a valuable resource, especially with how often people do things like currency loans over here.

This thread basically contains all the reasons why there shouldn't be a player warning sub-section.
Not saying PW section is a good idea (seriously, seriously doubt this would ever be considered) but in the past it has been nice to go through and google players to make sure that the new LS recruit isn't some guy that just server hopped with his LS's bank- sadly this kind of thing has happened a few times in the past and it is good to have that info. Obviously it would have to be something that doesn't show up on the active posts list, but it can be valuable information.
I think the only time a player warning thread has received forum-wide cooperation and acclaim was the epic "faked death" thread.

I was interested in what player warnings actually were. I now know that they're intended to warn about scammers. However, if player warnings go out about people who "make(s) bad suggestions" then you'll quickly foster an elitest community. I realize that quote was just to jab at another poster and I did lol though :D
But you can see how this can easily get out of hand. "Witch Hunts", as it were.
All I can say is don't EVER say ANYTHING about your account info to ANYONE online/in game, even your best friends. I'd even rule out texting. Tell them over the phone if you have to. Use a SE Security Token (if anything for the extra sack space), and stop and think WHY you would loan anybody anything in an online game with no way of tracking it should the loanee decide to stop communicating. I mean, there should at least be no complaints ever from anyone about "That ^*$($^&* stole my Kraken Club!!!". Well......................
