I changed the gear set to incorporate Ihina's and Ladyofhonor's suggestions. I agree with both of these. That's a great weaponskill set to target if you want to exclude HQ abjy pieces and random augments.

By achievable, I meant non-HQ abjurations. For Reisenjima gear, idc about augments since the stones are free and can spam as many as I want.

90% of the English playerbase on Valefor are super casual and very lacking in gear and skill.
So that nixxes shouts (when a trust is literally better than a human player, it's bad)
As for everyone else, they got all the SR stuff they want and getting them to go is usually like pulling teeth.
In short, I missed the wave :(
I wouldn't be surprised if there are similar cases on the other less-populated servers, but it is what it is :D

Is anyone else having trouble getting angel skin from ANNMs since the update? I've done one everyday and haven't gotten one since.

I figured I'd throw out a current "attainable" TP set while I was at it. Note this is merely a listing of useful pieces for reference and not necessarily intended as an actual set. Make substitutions where applicable. (dudgeon/heartseeker's, asperity, plunderer's poulaines +1, Ginsen, patentia sash if you can't get reiki) etc etc etc...

You are way over on dual wield, unless this is some sort of solo salvage set. In which case you could use a little more dual wield.
With capped magic haste you need 36 dual wield to cap delay, thf gets 25 from traits, so you need 11 dual wield from equipment and gifts. However if you have no magic haste you need 74 dual wield total. In which case if you have 5 dual wield gift you can used the floral gauntlets and Taeon boots and as long as the augments on your boots and cape add up to 9 you are set.

Point still stands. The earrings and belts suggested are not very useful except in situations where you won't be buffed, like salvage. You don't need much dual wield at all and going over on it actually hinders tp gain.

This is what I've come up with:
ItemSet 342175
- Only at 203 JP
- Canny Cape: DEX2, AGI4, DW4, Crit DMG1
- Herculean Gloves: DEX13, Acc20, Atk26, TA2
- Herculean Boots: DEX7, Acc13, Atk25, TA4
I realize I'm at 14% DW. Dropping Canny cape would reduce me to 10%, though conflicted if I should even do so, and if yes, which piece to use. Lupine Cape/Bleating Mantle?
For neck, I have Lissome/Clotharius/Asperity too. I suppose all 4 pcs are similar?

Adhemar is superior for gloves. And I prefer Kentarch belt +1 for TP if I need acc, or Chiner's +1 otherwise for lulz.

Stumbling across the ANNM suggestion I started doing them as of a week or two ago, no Angel Skins yet for me. Hard to say if it matters but so far on Siren only one of the three areas has been under Windurst control at any given time so I've only been able to do Garlaige and Meriph. Could just be poor luck or maybe more areas controlled simultaneously improves the loot somehow.

Heca/Lustratio seems to be cheap. I've bought all 4 of my pieces for 40m or under. Probably best just to farm up the gil and wait for someone to sell.

I have the bonecraft for it. I'm not going to pay a ridiculous mark up for something I can craft. If anything I should be the one selling it at a 25 mil profit.

I'm starting to feel like a broken record droning on and on about angel skin, but I might have found another place to farm it. I was doing MMM for the accuracy vorseal and one dropped from the gnoll on maze 9, Skoll. I had 6 C.C. or whatever when I fought it but since then I haven't had it drop again. I tried to look up what all drops where in the mazes but the information I found is scarce. Anyone know anymore? It could be a useful farm since you can go into MMM every hour as opposed to ANNM which is daily.

Just came back to mess around with the game. Just got to 99 on THF again and have no idea where to even start. Right now I'm rocking the 5 sparks pieces and the sparks dagger w/ a random offhand. Nothing else. Any suggestions on where to start? Going to be working on doing all the missions for accessories and such, but still even not sure where to begin.
It's a new character so nothing is done at all. Just level 99 with a few rhapsody quests done.

I'd say just do missions, find a LS, and if you see them talk about skirmish, or anyone need x/y, ask if you can come.

Acc/att are the same augment, so there's nothing confusing here. The choices are acc/att, racc/ratt, macc/mdmg, eva/meva.

Introduction, Disclaimers and Shout Outs Hiya! So I noticed people are posting guides for jobs, and I was like ME TOO :3 I ended up creating this back in March 2013, and although it's been a long, bumpy ride, I learned a ton about THF. Hopefully you will too!
Sadly, like many of the other guide authors here on FFXIAH I'm not playing the game anymore, and maintaining the guide is no longer feasible. So I'm opening it up to others! It'll be like a wiki :) Just send me a PM and I'll give you editing access.
