It's a severe strain on the eyes.
3D is a severe gimmick, that I really wish would pass. Until we get holograms, /drool.
Again... Lewis Black and eggs...
also taking what a comedian says out of context doesn't show much...

How is a sequel the next best thing? Why is a remake better? Are you one of those that keep Call of Duty successful because you keep buying the same game every year? If all we got were remakes, the market wouldn't grow. Wanna play ALTTP? You can play on the SNES, BS-X, GBA, GCN (With GBA player playing the GBA port), DS (playing the GBA port), Wii (VC), Wii U (Wii's VC), etc. That's a lot of ways to play ALTTP. How many ways can you play the sequel? None till it comes out. New games > Remakes if you enjoy industry and creative growth. Kimble2013 said: » Yeah, SNES games look great and stand the test of time. Not sure why you would rather have a remake over a brand new game. 1. CoD is crap, and I'm insulted that you insinuate that I ever would have wasted my time purchasing such a title. 2. It's my opinion, I'm allowed to have it, it doesn't have to make sense to you. 3. I'd like to experience the (exact) game in a different format, to each their own. I'm more surprised he thinks you would even buy the remake you want Jet!

I don't know of any decent/easy way to currently pirate 3ds games (I'm sure there is, just too lazy to research it lately.) I had originally sold my 3DS to my friend after I beat the OoT remake, got another one for Luigi's Mansion, still haven't played it. I find it more amusing that he thinks I don't know what all I can play a game I've beaten the whole way through over 100 times on...
Chimerawizard said: » I was talking about the middle timeline, not the one to the left. Also, MM seems to be just an alternate reality w/o a triforce, but three giants instead. At least what it looks like from playing it. The adult version is slightly confusing too, because it says "Ganondorf is sealed," and then later revived, implying that he died somewhere in between and he curses you, and talks about one day when the seal is broken, he will make your descendants pay at the end of OoT. (Almost sounds like LttP, but yeah.) Jetackuu said: » I find it more amusing that he thinks I don't know what all I can play a game I've beaten the whole way through over 100 times on... And again, the story didn't do it for me. You mean the cutesy art style that resulted in one of the most expressive Zelda titles ever? It's a wonder what exaggerating eyes and body shape does to emotions conveyed by characters. Abomination implies multiple *** and art style is a dealbreaker to you? That's fine but that's not an abomination. More legitimate gripes with Wind Waker include: -Not enough dungeons. -Great Sea got repetitive as ***. -Way too easy. Storywise, almost all the Zelda titles are the same. You're some random kid who winds up caught up in a cyclical battle against a demon pigman while trying to save the princess and the land from the aforementioned pigman. Majoras Mask and Link's Awakening jump out for having unique stories but usually the stories don't stray too far from the simple setup. My main gripe with recent Zelda games is that the games are too short and they've been getting progressively easier to the point of being Kirby-tier in some instances. *** the graphics, give me a title with some depth and clever dungeons. Water Temple goooooo. Disagree. Zelda titles have kept me happy and served as a source of comfort and link (no pun intended) to my childhood as the Final Fantasy titles have become suckier with each release.
oot on the 3ds master quest is pretty tough, and I hear skyward sword has a new game+1 after you beat it, I wish they would give us these options at the beginning of each game
I've never played a Kingdom hearts game unless it was on Proud difficulty , If they start releasing zelda/mario games with difficultly settings, I will play them all On hardest difficulty available right on the start. >_> what's so much harder about proud difficulty on KH. I didn't see a difference between easy, normal, and hard.
been playing oot on the master quest difficulty setting, Its tough, hardest thing is that he is right handed instead of left handed, which turns the whole world around. I cant tell you how many times I was heading for someplace and wound up somewhere else, dungeons are quite a bit harder, and monster do x2 damage, im having fun with it though.

Im honstley not sure, I died quite often in KH1 and 2 on proud difficulty , so imo its a pretty good challenge hardest games Ive beaten, ( acutally beaten not played) are probably dmc3 on dante must die mode(no items), and halo 1 and 2 on legendary, and castlevania 1, ive gotten to the last boss on all 3 nes ninja gaidens and cant beat any of them >_>,
need a new thread, hardest games you've beaten! Chimerawizard said: » what's so much harder about proud difficulty on KH. I didn't see a difference between easy, normal, and hard. Beginner Mode Kingdom Hearts Final Mix

I have yet to play the first Zelda, but my thoughts on the series:
Zelda II: Was a unique RPG-style turn to the game and provided a lengthy challenge. (Especially Ganon's Tower >_<) Link to the Past: This is my all-time favorite next to Oracle of Ages/Seasons because of the sheer depth of the game. Link's Awakening: Pretty much same as above because of the depth of the overworld and the amount of dungeons involved. Ocarina of Time: Thought this was a good execution of a 3D Zelda game with story, gameplay, and overall length. Oracle of Seasons/Ages: Like Link's Awakening, the overworlds were massive with tons of dungeons, and the fact that both games hooked together made the overall experience that much more enjoyable. Majora's Mask: Was a slight let-down after playing all of the above with there being only four dungeons. The only saving grace was all that there was to do in the world with collecting masks and helping all the people in your Bombers' Journal. Wind Waker: Personally, I don't care for these kind of graphics and much of the game as a whole because of how short and few the dungeons were. But again, the amount of things to do and exploring the open-sea was a saving grace that made me enjoy the experience. Phantom Hourglass: Had it's perks and it a way felt a little longer than Wind Waker itself, but the world felt cramped now and it was kind of meh overall. Spirit Tracks: I just... didn't get into. Twilight Princess: I felt this was another good execution of 3D Zelda with it's extensiveness and a decent story to go along with it. Skyward Sword: Felt like an HD Wind Waker, so I didn't play it for very long. So while I'm looking forward to this sequel, I hope it meets my standards of matching my original feelings for LttP in extensiveness and immersion, (or at least coming close), which I worry about since it is going to be on a handheld. I meant HK 1 (not final mix) f'ing japanese text that I can't read makes using items terrible.
Pretty sure only difference in difficulties for original HK are easy=less dmg taken & more xp per mob normal=normal everything hard=normal dmg & 1/2 xp per mob Ugh, Windwaker, don't get me started there...
Who in the hell thought it was a good idea to basically go in a pretty much straight line *curving once in a while to avoid a storm, micro land mass or ship not worth exploring* for 10-15 mins to get to one location to another? seriously, what the hell. also with WW. just cause it looked like it was kids, didn't mean the game had to be as easy as it was Chimerawizard said: » I meant HK 1 (not final mix) f'ing japanese text that I can't read makes using items terrible. I actually loved this system and the random squid encounters was a nice touch. I honestly wish it was BIGGER with MORE stuff like this to exploit and more giant monsters to fight. The sense of unpredictability of these features greatly complemented the games texture of a "lost fragmented world" I think like MM you could only play WW just for the main story if you didn't invest time into the extra content you were wasting your money and time. That's how it is for most Zelda games since by themselves they were average length or rarely very long like LTTP, unfortunately with MM and WW(somewhat) being short it's more noticeable. In MM if you didn't get every mask in the game and beat majora without using the final one, you just haven't finished playing the game or you gave up.
I see that OAT and LTTP are available on "Virtual console" Would someone be so kind as to explain to me the process of playing these games on a Wii. I bought a Wii just to play Skyward Sword. Taking a break from FFXI for a bit and planning on catching up on some Zelda games.
