Anyways at 3pm PT today there will be a Smash WiiU NINTENDO Direct with 50 facts about the game. Apparently it's 50 unannounced announcements. I highly doubt it's new characters but we can be sure to see new stages.

Purple Zard is a reference to his Gen II shiny sprite. His current shiny colors were first used in the Gen III games.
Rosalina's moveset is really strong... Most characters shouldn't even try to grab her unless Luma's halfway across the stage, projectile users weep if they're laggy enough that they can't bait Gravitational Pull (nevermind the fact that said projectile can hit the original user if they're close enough), and she's got enough range and mobility to play a decent defensive game while waiting on Luma to respawn. That's a lot of strong traits with very few meaningful drawbacks.

Could be more than that given what we found in the ROM. I at least expect Wolf and ICs regardless, and Snake would be nice.

Also I'm saying 3 more because it doesn't look like anymore will fit on the 3ds version and they said they will keep the rosters the same across both.

Miners found some data and images in the game's files a while back that pointed to DLC and other things. Among them were two arrows pointing left and right, leading to speculation of a second character select screen for DLC characters.

So haven't read much into anything as I don't really care to concern myself with the game until the Wii U version release, but how is Shulk? He isn't bottom tier, is he?
