Mega Lucario is probably his Final Smash.
At 22 characters now that's basically the middle ground of Melee and Brawl like Sakurai said for a roster my faith in Ness and Captain Falcon returning is dwindling.

If they didn't have Lucario as a playable, I might have considered for 2 seconds not buying the game.

I really hope there are still a ton of unlockable characters, stages and other stuff. That's one of the best things about Smash Bros. And with that I also hope they won't reveal every single character. Have some surprises for us when we purchase the game.
And about the release date, I'm sure it'll be announced at E3 this year. Would make the most sense.

Well, Punch-Out isnt my type of game, so....it makes sense. What I had seen of it, I never knew the character you played as even had a name, so...yeah.
If memory serves, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! was the first NES game I ever played as a young man. It was at a friend's house, probably around Christmas 1987. His big brother had already mastered the game, and it was a joy to watch him play. Good memories, and I'm curious to see how Little Mac plays in the new Smash.

So kinda a secret leak based on how you read today's miiverse post. Sakurai announced the return of the smash ball for final smashes. He also stated that he hasn't shown a single final smash but if he did he would take longer than a month.
This states that there is more than 31 characters in the final roster. Hooray there is still hope for Ness and Captain Falcon lol

I was expecting Yoshi last friday but I guess Sakurai will wait with revealing him until the Japanese release date for Yoshi's New Island.

Yeah Square still owns Geno and Mallow however Nintendo and Square seem to have buried the hatchet so it's possible but we already have enough representatives of the Mario Universe though no matter how big a fan of Mario RPG I am.
I'd love to see Tiz from Bravely Default if we were going to get a Square character. His moveset would be interesting since he has 24 jobs to use as well as any weapon you can think of. And since Nintendo is happy with the sales of The game in the states is highly likely.

Totally wasn't expecting Greninja being playable...
I love how he can use Substitute as his dodge roll.
Also Charizard is stand alone forgot to put that.
Another cool addition is Custom Move Sets that are only usable in Couch Multiplayer and Online Friends Only modes. Some examples were instead of Kirby sucking in with B he blows out cold air and freezes people. Nice change up for messing with friends.
