Kingdom Hearts Excitement

With the announcement of KH3 for the ps4, my interest in the series has sparked once again. Anyone who fell in love with kh 1 knows how long ago it came out and such.

Anyway, since I have been out of the series for a while, i was wondering if anyone can set the order of some of the games straigh for me, namely these:

kh1,
birth by sleep,
385/2
kh2

I would like to replay them again, but I do not own bbs or 385/2 yet.

I was wondering if someone could tell me the correct order of those 4 games so i can get the whole story straight.

(If there is another big handheld game i am missing, please feel free to add it to the order)

From Start to Finish: Birth by Sleep > KH1 > KH:CoM > 385 Days > KH2

However I would play in this order:
KH1> Chain of memories > 385 Days > KH2 > BBS

EDIT: since BBS references motifs and themes from KH2 (boiling down to essentially little scenes here and there that focus on characters you would have little to no introduction regarding them.)

BBS > KH1 > CoM and 385/2 together > KH2 > Coded / Recoded > DDD > KH3

Edit to swap CoM and 385/2 as I wasnt sure which came first.

CoM and 385/2 slightly overlap in story

@Alph: You forgot Chain of Memories which is pre 385.

BBS => KH1 => CoM => 385/2 => KH2

I don't think so. They are their own entity even within Disney's massive grasp. Also, I thought EA purchased the rights to Star Wars games. Regarding Marvel, Disney has only owned them since 2009, so we don't have much to go on in regards to if/how they will use them in any future installments of KH.

Some people are a bit too optimistic on a game that's only differentiating attribute is the obscene amount of fanservice and nostalgia mining.

I fully expect Darth Vader with MickeyMouse Ears using a Bustersword voiced by Robert Downy Jr. Cuz, sure?

And that's pretty much why i'm one of the few who really don't care that they FINALLY got KH3 into development.
