Final Fantasy Theatrhythm Curtain Call
The game is now released so I'll go ahead and start updating the thread with Friend Codes!
3DS Friend Codes List: Artemys - 1766-9241-5312 Natenn - 3566-2645-5141 Anyone else Pre-order or plan on getting this game? Square Enix seem to have shipped the CEs early, got mine today, 3 days before launch date *.* ![]() We just preordered ours yesterday. I still find myself playing the first one, so it's a pretty big deal for me.
But I second what Zekky said. Thirding the Zekky statement, to start off. I pre-ordered my copy last week and am eagerly awaiting it to get here. I have 300+ hours playtime on the first one, I'm curious to see how many hours I'll be spending on the second one.
And tomorrow is Sunday so absolutely no chance I'll be seeing it tomorrow... So that means Monday. Which means a lousy one day earlier. That's not quite enough... Yep. The hate is still strong.
I'm just really excited to play Curtain Calls. A lot more songs and not the outrageous prices for DLC. I wouldn't mind downloading the songs for the first game, but 50+ songs and a dollar a piece. That's the price of one and a half games. =\ Also more FFXI characters! I want my Aphmau. <3 Asura.Zekky said: » And tomorrow is Sunday so absolutely no chance I'll be seeing it tomorrow... Odin.Godofgods said: » hadnt even heard of this until a day or two ago. Whats it about? YouTube Video Placeholder It's a rhythm 3DS game where the soundtrack is from the Final Fantasy series. It has an RPG element where you use skills, earn exp, level up, and unlock characters. You combat a variety of mobs, mini-bosses and bosses from the series. The first one came out a couple years ago and they're releasing a sequel tomorrow for everyone. It's a lot of fun. If you're into rhythm games, it may be one worth considering. Asura.Natenn said: » I ordered on amazon soon as i heard about it, is that 1 the you got? also vs mode is online? if so thats gonna be funnnnn YouTube Video Placeholder demo is out in E-shop on 3DS. Having played the demo and an early version (convention) this game feels a tad faster, screen more sensitive and responsive, and more crazy-er sequences as compared too Teathrythm . I guess we can start posting our findings here as well?
From what I've done so far, when it comes to red shards for sure, you can choose one of 5 people to unlock, instead of the game choosing for you. It takes between 700-800 RM to unlock Quest Medleys. To be continued. Just got my copy, ill play later tonight i need to finish up my Koga salvage trial and 119 it @@ as for friend code mine is on the Bravely Default list if you hop over there.
May be better to start new list though for friend codes since ppl who played BD might not all be on this game
If everyone would like to post their codes I'll update the OP

I love online battles, the "Adventure" mode where you do the chaos maps is really neat... the unlocking of most songs right at the beginning is pretty awesome (and having the songs+free mode).
Also, I was editing my profile card... and I kept listening to the music of the profile card edit screne... Its a remixed Mog House theme from FFXI... seriously, if you have the game, listen to it. Its the FFXI Mog house theme heavily remixed, but its unmistakably the Mog house theme :O Blew my mind, i knew i recognized the melody but I had to really sit and listen to it for it to ring a bell. Its pretty cool they added a song from XI right into the menus. GameStop is mean as hell.
We went to pick up our copies yesterday, and we literally were the only ones to preorder that game. Only one of our copies showed up. The guy was like "okay so you can either wait until tomorrow to pick up the other one, or I can call another GS to see if they have a non-reserved copy over there". Naturally we're gonna take the second option because the last time we only got one copy of a game (Bravely Default) it was an all-out war to who will play it. We got the second copy, but seriously, how the hell you mess up a preorder that bad? PS: I'm in love. ...this actually looks really fun.
3D stuff makes me sick to my stomach though. Is the 2DS decent? 3ds has an on/off switch for 3d....
Bismarck.Misao said: » 3ds has an on/off switch for 3d.... Yeah, but...well, I've done zero research. Just occurs to me that if I NEVER want 3D, and 2DS is cheaper... 3D just drives me batty. I'm loving that they finally made it where you can do the songs with one-hand or the buttons. Sometimes on the faster songs on the first game I'd get a little aggressive and fear damaging my screen. Lol But does the actual gameplay suffer? I'm a big ham-fisted dude. Even the setup of the 2DS seems better because it gives me more to hold on to. I generally play hand helds laying in bed; I'm not on the go with them. I generally don't care if it closes or not. Does it actually suffer any hardware problems that the 3DS doesn't? Like, the chipset/etc. is the same? |
