I'd love to be able to capture game footage myself and make videos/stream but I just saw how ridiculous it was in cost. $200-$400 for a modified system or card noooo thank youuuuu. Shame I couldn't find a way to output to HDMI, I already have an Elgato HD60.
Am I right in thinking this is a FF Monster Hunter? I don't think there's anything on the planet I could possibly enjoy more.

I think the description that was given by people who have played it was a nice mix of monster hunter 4 with final fantasy jobs and monsters.
Yeah I'm excited. Two of my top favorite titles mixed together. Probably going to end up buying the CE.
I like how every class/job seems spot on in terms of description except for beast master.
They should have substituted Dancer for Beastmaster to be honest. It looks like you can form parties with pets on any job so unless it enhances the pets to make them stronger maybe?

They have't started that "New 3DS only" stuff yet?
In the same token it seems dumb to make a new and slightly improved system (hardware) that the old one runs the same games on, doesn't it?

Yeah from my limited understanding, anything 3DS works on 3DS regardless of hardware model. Some 3DS games even work on 2DS I think? My nephews all have a 2DS but my knowledge is super limited lol.

Now that I think about it, if this game is Final Fantasy: Monster Hunter, Beast Master is worded and drawn to be a close match to the Monster Hunter playable characters and their use of large weapons.
I'm thinking NIN DRG and Time Mage will be really strong. Being able to evade in monster hunter is everything, and if haste increases mobility that would be insane.
Saving my Christmas money for this. The countdow begins! \o/

I just got my New 3DS XL! I was super excited until it died after an hour and I realized the I didn't ask for a charger with it haha.
I'll go get one tomorrow.
I just preordered and paid off the standard edition of FFE. The collectors is still wait listed unfortunately, but I got a gift card that paid off the standard edition with enough leftover to get a few accessories.

This game is just 3DS, not specifically New 3DS, right?
As far as I know, this game does not require it to be a "new" 3DS model no. They said in the future some games may require the new model but this isn't one of them thankfully. I think the only current draw to the new model is slightly faster processing time, built in amiibo reader, and a new minor control methods.

I was THINKING about it for my PS4. But after watching some game play of it, I'm not entirely sure I'm feeling it yet. I haven't learned very much about it yet though.

That's actually why I requested one for Christmas lol. There has been a few other games of interest. I've also never played a Fire Emblem game sadly.
I just picked up a charger today so now I just get to rock back and forth and wait for this game to come out.

Less armor covering your body means that you are a stronger character with more defense, of course.
Metal bikinis for example are second to none. An entire robe would only have half as much defense. It is simply logical that metal is more defensive than restrictive cloth.
Anyway, what is the difference between FF Explorers and World of FF? Is it just the chibi looking nonsense?

2ds is 3ds without 3d capabilities and i think cheaper cost and lacking the ability to fold, was basically for people who wanted a cheaper ds and didnt want to deal with gimmicky 3d graphics.
Tbh the 3d mode is nice and all but playing any more than an hour starts to make my head hurt.
As far as the new 3ds it has a faster process speed which did make a difference i noticed when playing local with friends on MH4U but... its not a huge diff so not really needed.
