Wonder if i get it from amazon if it would come in early D: I really wanna play but i hear mixed things from it... but dont want to wait for videos and such.. Though i think i left my 3ds in storage... now i have to go get it xD

The only negative things I have heard is about a little bit of interface lag during some fights with lots of Michael Bay explosions going on at once.
Everything else including multiplayer has received pretty good review from what I can tell.
Playing it for a bit and I can see potential. It feel's like it will be a better game playing it with other's.

Does it not have online mode?
Will there be cities that i can sit idle in be lazy and just talk to people?
Yeah it has online mode but it's for you and up to 3 friends only. There is no "persistent world", but from what I understand you can only chat using premade macros with your basic generic phrases. I have 3 friends ready to go and we plan to use Skype thankfully.

That sucks but I was thinking that is what it was. I ordered it anyways it does look fun.

Not sure what other games I'd buy which is why I didnt spend the cash on the new one.
And I heard that explorers was "short". Which sucks to hear cause its a 3ds game so its not like it will get dlc.
I think if you've spent too much time on an MMO like FFXI, almost any game could be considered short lol. I think you should be able to get a solid 40 hours out of it standard. Way more if you want to go competitionist and play with friends.
I read online that you can scale the difficulty and HP of mobs to get better rewards and stuff. I don't yet know to which degree.
I think I mentioned it previously but fire emblem and animal crossing games have been unexpectedly amazing so far for me. I didn't know if I'd like my 3DS very much and it's probably one of my favorite things right now.
Also: 24 hours to go for me!

I've been trying to sparingly look at information too.
BUT TODAY IS THE DAYYYYYYY. I should get mine at some point today but I can't play until after 5pm due to work boo~

Yeah I saw it's getting mostly 7's across the board. I've actually had a lot of people tell me it plays a lot like Phantasy Star Online for the combat (which to me is a good thing). I can see how that wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea though.
The main enjoyment you are going to get from this game most likely is playing with friends who enjoy final fantasy as well.
This video is fairly spoiler free if you stop about half way through. It just demonstrates how the multiplayer appears to work. I was actually surprised to see that you zone to different areas.

I'm still patiently waiting for a western release of PSO2. I played the JP version for a very brief bit after figuring out the Japanese text on the website via a guide. I hated not being able to read NPC text. I heard there was an english patcher now, but I also heard they started blocking access for non-jp.
Very fun game series that is usually underrated though.
It's a bit of a stretch, but I want to say if you are a FFXI or FFXIV fan that has stuck with the game for years... Chances are you are probably going to like this game just fine. More so if you have at LEAST 1 friend to play with.
I highly encourage anyone without a friend to share your friend code here with someone and just see what happens.

Some advice, getting a "new" 3ds, the c stick is great, BUT stay away from the XL version. I got one and I am not happy with it. So many things look stretched out, plus the XL doesn't get the cool swap plate things.

I have huge hands and the thought of NOT using an XL gives me the shivers lol. I just BARELY can use my N3DSXL without my hand cramping. Sometimes it starts to so I just shift my hand.
Animal crossing and fire emblem haven't looked too bad to yet, but then again I have no point of reference since this is my first "game boy" since the gameboy advance.

It's one of those things I notice a LOT because I have both. Actually I have 3 "gameboys" on my desk right now, all with games in them I am working on.
I do have tiny baby girl hands though, so its not hard for me to use any of them. I did have a problem with the N3DSXL where my pinky used to rest right where the new power button was XD
