You can very well remove/disable them and add/enable them back later when you are more comfortable. Luas are pretty flexible.

Prothescar's one that he linked to in the guide (this one) is fairly simple, and easy to trim down further or add to as you desire.

I don't play BLU but I've helped a friend make a BLU lua that doesn't use Motenten's very complex rules and includes. That said, it still has a sizeable number of sets.

Check out Spicy's linked in the BLU guide on BG-wiki. He has two luas where he has cut some or all of the complexity and they look solid.
