Expacion Sets

What are you guys sets looking like. I just finished Tizona AG and im feeling a bit underwhelmed at the results. i thought Expacion would at least be on par with savage(naegling).

You get higher numbers when you have higher TP when you weaponskill. You need to have more than 1k TP to start getting better numbers (just like savage blade). Especially if you can start augmenting that Tizona. Also aftermath 3 helps your TP gain of course.

Missing Moonshade, Floestone and a second ring, but Savage never really comes close to Expiacion once you R15 Tizona basically.

I know the ftp doesn't scale as well from 2k - 3k as it does from 1k - 2k tp on Epiacion. Is Brutal better than Moonshade in general when off handing Thibron?

Ishvars earring


Fotia neck held up well till mirage+2, normal belts beat the waist even accounting for the 1% tp save

Ishvara, mache+1, the minuet ear, tati+1 better options

I was using moonshade/ishvara. Guess I'll give mache +1/ishvara a shot and see how that does.

I meant than brutal earring, sorry. Use moonshade

Share the dark matter luck

I was wondering which Herculean Boots would be best for Expiacion; I've got one pair with (WSD+8%, CHR+10, Accuracy+7, Attack+7) and another pair with (WSD+5%, STR+11, Accuracy+1, Attack+15) augments. If only CHR were STR on the 1st pair...

Not to hijack the original thread, but this seems like an appropriate place to ask:


With Tizona 119r3 does Expiacion spam do more damage than CDC Spam? You at least get a light SC out of CDC, but I do not know much about Expiacion and many of the SC guides and charts are outdated.

Tizona expiacion spam was best with non augmented tizona.

Light sc is situational

Requiescat > Savage Blade (Fragmentation) > Expiacion (Distortion) > Requiescat (Darkness) > Aeonic Requiescat (Darkness/Umbra)

You can start or finish at any point of this sequence if you don't want to use lolRequiescat, make a very long skillchain or you're not using Aeonic. Also Expiacion can be swapped to CdC for non-Tizona users.
