That impeachment thing....
Just because the Republicans control the Senate, doesn't mean they are the only ones that get to call witnesses. Its not like the House. This is a fact Saevel just likes to ignore, but it doesn't change reality. John Roberts isn't going to just let one side call witnesses and not the other.
Asura.Saevel said: » President Trump asked the Ukraine head of state to investigate potential corruption with a well known firm and made an announcement that it was doing so. That's a lie, "READ THE TRANSCRIPT", Trump never mentions Burisma. He mentions the Bidens. "There's a lot of talk about Biden's son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that. So whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it...It sounds horrible to me." Quote: This isn't illegal or even slightly wrong, it's actually the right thing to do. If he is proven to have used foreign aid as a leverage to get personal gains, it is illegal, but we are not there yet. Asking a foreign nation to investigate a US citizen isn't the right thing to do either, the DoJ should have started an investigation and then requested help from Ukraine if required. Asura.Saevel said: » Now can you stop interfering with the 2020 Presidential Elections, why is Canada trying to subvert the Democratic process of the USA? We aren't. The Canadian has spoken. The true authority figure in American politics.
Please teach us of your wise ways. Teach me Teach me ! I'm ready to learn.
I didn't know so many people on a video game forum were Constitution experts.

We have set the bar so low for impeachment. That future presidents will be dealing with this ***for 20 plus years.
fonewear said: » We have set the bar so low for impeachment. Just below the waist. I have read them, both of them, unlike you guys who just quote talking heads. There is no request for favor in exchange for anything. No evidence has ever been prevented indicating such a thing even with all the Democrats testifying the "felt" there was.
So again Trump asked a head of state to investigate a well known corrupt company. Its been established that Trump was demanding an investigation into the Bidens in exchange for a meeting with him. The Bidens, not Burisma. Nothing can change it.
The thing that Democrats don't get is as was said above, the Republicans are going to use these exact same strategies in future now. You're setting yourself up for a hilarious future where both sides do this nonsense in a never ending cycle and the public pays for it every time.

There have been no consequences for the public as a result of this very legitimate inquiry. Viciouss said: » Not the way that the fearmongerers want us to believe. If so, well, I can live without french fries.

I've never read the Constitution but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night...so yes I'm an expert.
Donald Trump should leave NATO
