Google Wave

Hey guys I have some invites to the new google wave... and I don't really have anyone to send them to, so if you're one of the first 5 people to ask for one, I'll give it to you.

What is it? And I'll take one since I'm always around Jewish people and I've learned their ways.

It's a real time chat thing... Where you can see what people are typing as they type it... you can add anyone to a conversation at any time so they can see, reply to, or edit everything thats been seen or done. You could create a document, invite people to see it, and they could edit it to add more content or make it more readable, then you could press the playback button and watch a step by step recreation of the entire thing. Same with conversations, pictures, videos... everything. You can even add bots to let you view statuses or update them on things like twitter... i'm hoping someone makes an ffxiah bot soon.

Alright I sent it... right now it takes 3-4 hours to go through, so sorry for the wait.

Just got mine earlier today from a friend! Wave's pretty novel and neat, but currently it's still in beta (seemingly heavily) so it's a little clunky at times. Real-time text chat is neat as well as wave-editing where you can edit your own and others waves. Example!

"I like this shade of blue!"
"I like this shade of blue! penis."

That happened waaaaay too much today between friends. lol Anyway, Google as well as lifehacker.com have a ton of information about it if anyone's interested. Here are some links, pretend I'm throwing them at you:

Yeah! Just got mine from a friend as well :) I'm happy to say I'm of the same mindset as Cai here, and we were editing each others' posts with many a snigger. :) Especially that "watch me type" dealio.... >;3

I can't wait to add the language bot that will translate sentences into different languages so you can talk to people throughout the world using your native language and they will see it in theirs.

I'm surprised Google hasn't came out with their own version of Facebook/Myspace/Twitter combination.
