I recently did those mini-forks for the first time to do shanttoto missions.. I liked that thing(And the quote)

I have the Raogrimm one on my Facebook quotes, as well as this one with Ulmia:

Ohh and pretty much anything that comes out of Shantotto's mouth.

Pretty much anything the mithra trackers say lol. Especially the letter key item.
Not really a npc but a clickable but still awesome. The ??? for spawning Olla, "There is a small hole here. It appears to be damp inside... "

One of my favorite npc quotes comes from a little Tarutaru in Norg.

In the middle of his speech, he jumps up as if in attack, which makes it doubly cute. o.o;

I dont remember (and cant find it on the aht urhgan missions), but theres one where a Cardian says he can talk like the mercenaries of aht urhgan, and in its own lingo says something like, "nEed TaNK PleASe TelL". Not entirely too funny but in the context of a mission I laughed pretty hard >.>

There'a a taru in Mhaura I think it is...under the bridge as soon as you enter. Says something like

"What're you looking at? Get outta here before I breaky-waky your face."

Strong words for someone who can only reach the top of a Hume Kneecap, little guy. >.>

my NPC asks me if I "eat out alot."....yes..

There's so many great NPC lines added by the localization team. Those guys don't get enough credit.

"Raziya's badge flashes brightly."

:O That reminds me--there's a taru in Windurst Woods that says something like that, except "get out of here before I bite your kneecaps!!" I'll find it and post it here.

That cutscene itself is awesome, also.

The first thing that came in my mind when I read the topic. It's my favourite!

In Sand'oria, there's one of those insignificant quests involving a pickpocket. While "running" after that pickpocket, I was surprised to see an NPC near a gate complaining about being called a "spoony bard" by the burglar who bumped into him. Anyone who remembers how disgustingly horrible the first FF IV translation (FF II on SNES) was will probably smile. I thought it was awesome to add such a subtle reference to this in FF XI, even if most will probably never notice.

In the final CS for COR AF:

Plus, I found this one funny when I initiated the mission: Image turned to link to protect the awesomeness of Qultada.

Quote got really amazing towards the end. "Heart a-hoppin' and my feet a-stompin'" is probably the best thing ever. Also, this is a dead horse to be beaten, but the "help me keep in contact with little boys and girls" was just super *** up and made me mentally plaster one of Ludo's avatars as the face of whoever Dilauriome is. lol

Corsair AF thing was really cool as hell. I almost want to do COR just for the sake of getting to experience another great series of quests in-game.
