That's only partial. Since I'm ignorant I'll just play along with the meaning and ask why is there a need for a copyright office if you don't need to create proof you were the first to create something?

wow , I feel sorry for him. It sucks you got a degree in any type of law and all of the sudden get , fired. This is no different than getting fired, all the ***he did was stupid. But at the end of it all what goes around comes around, he was looking for it and got it.

Of course it is. Copyright law is a clusterfuck that normal people aren't supposed to understand. However, you do own something upon creation which is the point I was making.
And I wasn't being rude but it's true that a lot of people here, you included, have no idea how *** up the copyright system is. Any dumbass with a good copyright lawyer can get you into court. They may not win but you'll still be accumulating legal fees while they make their flimsy case.
I know it's jacked up. It literally takes just as long to get one of your works copyrighted as it takes someone to get a patent. But you still need to get your stuff copyrighted to prove your work is indeed your's, otherwise you are screwed.

Wait wait, so if HE's the one saying he's going to "sue" people or this website for "not protecting him".... cant the people who are getting these comments just get him banned? Asking for "protection" then saying death threats to people on the internet.... I don't know about suing someone for posting your pictures up after editing them, but Im pretty sure you can sue someone for making death threats on you. Or at least have every right to ban them :X
