What Are Your Phobias?

Bugs, deep sea/unlit water... I even had issues closing my eyes for long in the shower at one point because of a practically-black-water giant squid nightmare... bugs...

This is a rather new phobia of mine, but I do not like needles, I go into a mild shock and vertigo thing (vision turns black, sounds like voices are muffled by cotton, loss of balance). The cause was due to 7 IV's being jammed into my arms before a surgery. Eventually the gassed me and stuck an IV into my foot.

Ugh, I use to hate needles too. My story kind of goes in the opposite direction though. I hated needles from the start, hated getting shots... then I woke up in the hospital after getting incredibly sick with god knows how many IVs stuck in me and I find out... you gotta take 4 shots a day for the rest of your life, welcome to diabetes. Now needles are nothing to me, it's a daily occurrence and even larger needles don't bother me. I think I've been stuck with a needle on every inch of my body by now (okay not really but close enough).

O_o Seriously, Erim--are we secretly twins or something?? I'm a diabetic, too. Same story. I do my injections on my tummy mostly, though. :3 You don't have a pump yet either?? Those are SO freaking expensive.

I take my shots on the side of my belly and sometimes my shoulder... and ya that's pretty much exactly why I don't have a pump. Plus I think it'd get in way if I jog and stuff, I don't know how heavy or well attached they are, but the idea of something hanging off me constantly bothers me.

Also I fear heights.

Edit: Open water as well, the ocean, lakes anything but a pool and bathtub pretty much.

I'm afraid bees. I looked it up and it's called Apiphobia.

The only thing that has ever really terrified me in my life has been Stephen King's IT. Which I saw when I was about ~10. I'm now scared of clowns that live in storm drains. Part of my job involves doing As-Con and investigations on old Stormwater systems too...

Other then that, i'm pretty clear of phobias.
Love heights and the feeling of freedom you get from stuff like Sky Diving.
Fine with confined spaces.
Great with water. (Water Skiing and Surfing all the time, Advanced Open Water Scuba License)
Spiders/Bugs are fine. Live in Australia and currently have a Huntsman (bout the size of my hand) living in my room somewhere, he eats the other anoying buzzing bugs, so it's cool.

I suppose you could say that I have a fear of rejection, but thats normal right? Doesn't stop me from doing anything, but it's always in the back of my head.

Oof, on the topic of bees, my biggest bug-phobia is the mosquito. Literally heart racing and panic and everything just to get away if I catch a glimpse of one (and half the time I am nervously convinced there is one hiding somewhere in the house).
