Their customers would know that and still buy their burgers there though. Unsolicited leaflets like the op got should not be attached to products they paid their hard earned money for. If the company stated on their website that they were a 'Christian Company' then it may be a different story.

maybe the grill cooks the food for you and its wireless connected to your brain waves so you can control it wireless. Or maybe you can turn one burger patty and one hotdog into 20 burgers and 10 hotdogs.

That reminds me... Remember in Bruce Almighty, Jim Carrey split the soup....

...well maybe you can split the bbq racks, so you can cook the 'dogs & the 'burgs superbly with even heat!!!

Stuff about New Testament and Old Testament

Stuff about Mosaic Law, the New Covenant, and what applies to whom

Stuff about his personal beliefs.

Well the New Testament and along with it the New Covenant makes Mosaic Law obsolete. Humanity proved time and time again that with sin and the free will that God put into us, we were unable to follow his rules well enough to earn our way to heaven. With the New Covenant, where Jesus told that anyone who believed Him in their hearts, and turned from their old way of live to one trying to glorify God: that He would speak for that person before God and they were to inherit the Kingdom of the Lord. Salvation is of course a gift, not something to be earned.

There are some differences for Christians versus Jews because they are his chosen people. That doesn't exempt them from when Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me."

I am with you in the fact that people try to read the Bible as it was set, 2000 years ago and older. They then try to apply those principles literally to today's world losing the Bible's timelessness. I, however, also dislike how some people think the Bible is open to individual interpretation meaning that whatever you get out of that verse works for you. The Bible's verses are meant to affect each person differently, but they aren't there for people to manipulate and justify everything they want by taking things out of context or taking an obtuse view of what's being said. This is where you get the people that quote half a verse to push a point.

If you want to discuss further PM me, I don't want to derail from the thread anymore with super walls-o-text.

My friend had a teacher try to tell the class all that abstinence/spilling your seed crap saying you're killing unconceived children etc And my friend brought up the point that in the act of procreation 99% of the sperm die, so just making a kid you are killing unconceived children, The teacher quickly shutup ^_^

And when Door2door Religion salesmen come to my door and try to convert me, I'll try to convert them, they give up and leave soon after.

You obviously either can't read complete sentences or just decided to pull part of my sentence out of context to prove a point...either way I've covered both types of behavior in earlier posts.

Seriously? This doesn't seem odd to you? You honestly believe we were built to fail on our own? We were created to be dependent? Is your god into Bondage or something?

No, and we were created to be independent, unlike the angels and demons who are forced to believe. We fail because of our choices, not because of our creator; it wasn't God's original plan but He knew we would so he had an alternative because He loved us so..

Jesus - What Really Happened.

Ask yourself this.. do you believe in the easter bunny? Do you believe in santa claus? Do you believe in anything without any form of proof at all? The loch ness monster? Or do you just believe in the bible because you were told it is fact - or do you believe some other religion because of the truths that they tell you there?

Either way you look at it - ask yourself this. Which of these scenarios is more logical.

Day 1:
Judas is approached by some roman soliders. They want a piece of Jesus's *** because of all the hippy talk he had been spreading. So they want to pay off Judas in exchange for being able to nail jesus - literally.

Judas Accepts... or did he?

Day 2:
Jesus calls a final meal with his bro's because the word on the street is that the Romans really wanna nail jesus hard. Judas told the group the plot of handing over Jesus and they plotted how to come out on top. Sneaky Jesus had a plan.

Day 3:
Luckily for Jesus - EVERYONE back then had a really long bushy beard. So they found some random guy off the street and Judas turned in this unlucky man. Of course no roman believed anything this man said - because Judas was his friend who would oviously know him.

A few days later this man is Crucified. And his body is put in a cave. - Jesus was already in this cave with a few days provisions.

Day 6:
Jesus's followers open the cave and Jesus comes out and changes his identity. Its gotten too hot for him there and he has to leave before the romans discover they have been foiled. He says his farewels and departs and instructs his crew to use this 'miracle' as a way of launching a new religion - Christianity. (Considering that Jesus was Jew he knew all about making vast amounts of wealth.

Money was sent to him every so often and Jesus lived a comfortable life somewhere out of the way.

OR

His friend Judas is asked to betray jesus.
His friend betrays jesus and hands him to the romans.
Jesus is nailed to a cross and dies.
Jesus' body is put in a cave.
A few days later Jesus miraculously reraises and ascends to heaven.

Which is more realistic? Or do you truly believe things that are completely illogical?

So to recap the entire thread.

Buy a grill

Find a PIECE OF PAPER in the grill

Realize life is ruined

Suffer from massive butthurt and QQ about it on the internet

Gather like-minded butthurt people and have a QQ orgy about how religion is destroying your lives with pieces of paper that can easily just be thrown away or burned (as was done by OP)

Apart from adding the grill (amazingly fresh new take btw) an exact copy of every other religion thread that has been posted on this site.

I love how all of you (esp Americans) enjoy your free speech and use it freely on this site, but when it comes to something you don't like, feel the need to QQ like a *** 3 year old kid.

lol @ the ignorant.

Actually I hold to my belief because of the feeling I get, not from what anyone tells me. A good percent of the Bible has historical information, that has been scientifically proven. That said, there's no logical explanation to prove or refute God's existence or the validity of any of the stories of history (Biblical or not).

Religion (or lack thereof) is a belief, just like those of you whom believe there is no God. You can't prove that there is not. You can't go beyond this existence, taking witnesses or instruments to show that there is nothing beyond our lives as they are today, just as I cannot to show that there is an existence beyond this.

With that said I fully believe, when I perish from this body, I have an eternity to spend with the being that created me, and loves me. I have also been able to more fully enjoy life now that I believe this than before I did.You still hold the thought that there is no God very dear do you not? So maybe I should say of you that you are brainwashed.

I really don't care what you think of me, it won't change my opinion of you, it won't hurt my feelings. I know many of the Christians you all run across are quick to judge and are piss poor examples of human beings. That is not what being a follower of Jesus is. I feel as though I have the right to judge no one.

Do I want you all to believe? Yes. If we were RL friends would you not believing make me think differently of you or not want to hang out with you? No. Would we always do the same things? No. When we did do the same things, would it be with the same motives? No. That's really all the difference is.

This is one of the greatest observations I've ever seen. People are all about freedom until another person's freedom offends them. Same goes for when 'freedoms' allow someone different from said person to get ahead in life.

Heh, I cheated I had two windows open, the first had your entire post...the one I quoted from didn't. Needless to say I had to work some copy/paste to catch you on that.

It's not really the straying part that gets us, that's the Old Testament and Mosaic Law (10 commandments, rules, etc.)
The point now, is you are to try to glorify God in all that you do.

I'll make a stupid Jr high reference: Say you and I go to a party. I'm a Christian you aren't. Most churches and Christians screw up here by flipping out over me going to the party and saying I'm not a real Christian and that you and I are going to hell. So we're at the party, and being underage, I don't drink. I still have a good time, I still hang out with the same people you do, I just don't drink. The reason I don't drink, not because 'it's a sin' is because it's the law and part of obedience of God is obeying man made law. Fast forward 10years and were in college. Yea, I'm gonna have some drinks. I won't get toasted because I value my body and strive to take care of it. (something else my God wants me to do, just for the sake of being better) I'm dragging this out but you know I'm still going out and doing all those 'terrible things' the church hates, but my motives are to be an example for my friends, so it glorifies God. I'm still a normal person and I have nothing to answer for in these situations once I am judged.

Belief - the one thing you can have without actually having proof. (and no the whole "i feel god" thing IS a delusion.)

You only believe in Jesus and what people said he says because you were told to believe it. If you had been born 3000 years ago you would have been worshiping the sungod Ra in ancient egypt. If you had been borth in as a Viking then you would have been worshiping Thor etc.

Religion is just a waste of time. Religion is the greatest lie of all. You dont need religion to be a good person or live a good life.

According to the bible - if your child disobeys you then you must take them out and stone them. If you dont do this you arnt a real christian. Thats just one example. When it comes to religions you cant pick and choose which parts you will obey and which parts you will disregard entirely.

At the very least its up to you to prove he exists rather than for me to prove he doesnt.

Or do you believe in the tooth fairy too?

Belief in the tooth fairy means that you believe that if you put a tooth under your pillow that you will get money? It doesnt really work out that way does it?

Belief in god means that you might believe that he answers prayers? Pray to the tooth fairy and i bet exactly as much prayers get answered... hell.. pray to the loch ness monster!

I am all about everyone's freedom to practice whatever religion they want. They should also respect my right to not have to listen to them preach it... or buy general household products with leaflets about their god attached to it.

So, your point is you like to go to parties and not drink. Here's your pat on the back. *pats on back* By stressing that you are going to the party with me, and you don;'t drink, and still associate with the people I do, you're assuming I drank when I was underage? Sorry if I'm wrong, just trying to "read between the lines" as you say. Aside from that I don't see what you were getting at besides looking for validation.

Like I said, God supposedly gave us free will, then punishes us for using it. "Free Will" isn't really all that free when the consequences for using it freely, typically result in Eternal Damnation. I'm not even talking about murder, rape, pillaging, viking stuff, I'm talking about just not being one of "you". According to numerous churches, simply not belonging to that church is a hell-worthy trespass. Free Will my butt.
