I mean yes... a Male Cast Will probably be the best Ranger or gunner as far as pure damage goes but it's not enough to say all other races suck in comparison...
I see Cast force/techer all the time and they do just fine...
I feel this game gives you WAY more options...
And yes at times leveling can be slow...but where you doing COs (Client Orders) while you was leveling?
They make the difference with that extra EXP and meseta...
Generally i just went with friends i met and we just had fun...exp wans't really a huge deal since we having fun lol
Also finding organized MPA (multi party area) is also a bonus...if all 12 players (12 max) all go as a unit and murder stuff makes it easy to get PSE Burst and Cross Burst....
Haven't lived until you've been in a 5+ minute burst lol

Hi, I've got a question regarding this game, can you use a controller on pc/laptop like you do with ffxi? if so I'm going to play this to hold me over for 14

Yes you can, I played since the JP release and there is a menu to hotkey into all the buttons. I used a wired XBOX 360 controller. Wife also used controller for this game.

If you use the English Patch pretty much ANYTHING that's menu/setting related is in english...
For the most part....in game the only things that isn't in english(when using the patch) is:
1.items,weapons,gear, actual name(Stats and such are in english though)
2. NPC's Dialogue
3. Don't think I can think of anything else...
Other thenthat everything is translated....menu's....quest (most are translated)etc
Everything you need to play the game is in english :P

[35 days between previous and next post]I'll be getting PSO2 Vita on Thursday (It shipped this morning, and it's in transit)
From what I've read, Vita users will be able to play with PC players (having both ups and downs, such as smaller but faster maps).
So, what ship are you all on? (If I can, I'm gonna try getting into Ship 2 because that's what my friends from PSU are on.)

It still hasn't been confirmed on release date yet. If anything the US then the EU may eventually see it... Also Vita version was released earlier today and Chrome Dragon should be able for Vita folks right now pending matter board completions etc.

So I started playing this again (forgot my old account info so made a new one. ship 2) and on a whim, I decided to jack up my settings to max and go out and hit stuff to test it out.
Needless to say, it's amazingly pretty but my machine was silently screaming the whole time (the fan whirring is deafening, I have a pretty low-end PC)
