I've finished the first editing run through, but its slow. I suffered a deep personal loss in December that sapped my desire to write. Fortunately, the manuscripts are done for years worth of releases. And the next few books are much lighter in tone than the last one.

The problem with that theory is that Wuchang was not a quality game by any stretch of the imagination.

The only reason to rate something 0 or 1 is to make baseless review bombs. I wouldnt even rate Outlaws or Shadows that low even with valid justifications over how buggy they are or how *** the artwork is or how *** the gameplay is. But thats still a 3 or 4.

Wuchang was trash when it released. I don't even think it sold a million copies. Bug infested, frequent crashes, not worth anyone's time. The developer went out of business.
Waiting for a sale? what kinda brokey, librul, foodstamps idea is that?! Get every game on day 1 or you're just a casual. If you aren't buying a new car every time your tank runs out of gas, you're not automobiling properly either.

I really don't understand your retort. Groceries go on sale, but they don't stop making those products. It's a video game. I'm not paying $70 for something that will all but guarantee go on sale for $30 or less eventually.

In this case, its a good thing that a Chinese developer went out of business. Turns out, I don't support China. And I got a good laugh as that whole craze of "Chinese devs are taking over" died a glorious death. The first failure was Wuchang, the next few have already been forgotten. Lost Soul Arise, maybe that was the name? The game that that idiot RadialArcana was hyping up. Absolute failure. Just stick with gacha games for the CCP, that's all they are good for.

Paying full price for a prerelease or game that hasn't been thoroughly reviewed yet is silly and props up shovelware studios.
Paying full price for a game you actively want to support (or from a developer you actively want to support) is fine. Some people need to do it for them to stay in business.
Piracy or waiting for sale is the smart thing to do from an individual standpoint. But, it's kind of shitty if you truly enjoy specific games or developers. Still, consuming the latest mediaslop the second it comes out isn't exactly a virtue.
Paying full price for a game you actively want to support (or from a developer you actively want to support) is fine. Some people need to do it for them to stay in business.
